This exhibition, titled 'Shifted Topo-logical Thinking with a Distorted Artistic Mind', marks the first step in presenting my 'Schematic Medium'.  Emerging at the intersection of drawing, painting, sculpture, and object, this medium proposes a new mode of reflection through line, form, and color. What matters here is not the closure of a fixed form, but the deeper consideration of whether completeness can ever truly exist. I call this open condition 'Ontological Incompleteness'.

'Ontological Incompleteness' is not deficiency but the essential state in which relations endlessly continue and transform. As topological thought reveals, everything originates from one, becomes many, and converges again into one. Within this continuous transformation and the persistence of relation, the Schematic Medium seeks to establish its own visual language.
'9 Drawing' halts at the number just before completion, exposing the tension between life and death at the very edge of closure. 'Semi-Circle' drawings convey that tension through the absence of half a circle, evoking an immaterial interval and the perception of incompleteness. Both works can be understood in a topological context, showing that incompleteness is not a limitation but the condition through which new orders and meanings arise.

The exhibition space functions as a scene. Small objects are not isolated fragments but nodes connected through gaze and movement. Drawings merge into the walls, paintings form extended surfaces within the installation, and objects intervene as forces that bend flows and surfaces. As the viewer moves and lingers, relations are continually rewoven, transforming the entire exhibition into a living drawing, a topological structure in motion. At the same time, each object exists as an independent form, yet when interwoven and juxtaposed, they generate an overall rhythm and order. This is not a simple juxtaposition but a site-specific installation in which individual elements coalesce into a singular experiential field. Within this condition, objects retain their singularity while simultaneously becoming the structural forces that shape a shared world.

This exhibition is an experiment that translates the uncertainty of completeness into aesthetic reflection. The 'Schematic Medium' unfolds this inquiry within space and perception, allowing different yet the same, the same yet endlessly different to coexist within a single field.
