ARTIST’S NOTE | 7
Yellow + Equilateral Triangle
2018 노트에서 발췌

Yellow signifies the rhythm of order and harmony in nature.
The equilateral triangle reveals the primal geometry of life.
Within the tension and relation of its three sides,
I sense both stability and fragility,
balance and collapse.
As wind moves,
as water circulates,
as light endlessly shifts its angle,
the triangle of Yellow mirrors this rhythm.
Its combinations and dissolutions,
its repetition and transformation,
trace the endless attempt
to translate the order of nature into human thought.
I exist within nature,
yet live as though I have forgotten my bond with it.
Nature, a complete and independent being, embraces me,
and within its perfection I see my own imperfection.
Nature has no need for me,
yet I continue to move within its order.
Water, fire, air, and earth —
I live within the world permitted by their existence.
I seek perfection with nature,
but nature is already complete in itself.
Yellow & Triangle embody
the gaze of humanity reaching toward nature’s perfection.
Within it, I perceive the asymmetry between human and nature,
and the humility that quietly resides there.
