The Authentic Origin: First Memories of Infinity and Death

Living in a house with a small yard back then, I loved digging in the dirt, gathering fallen leaves, and watching the tiny creatures that crawled among them. When I dug, the world beneath the surface was suddenly revealed. An unseen space would split open, and another layer would appear inside.

Elements of Being

What makes human beings—and this world—exist? My work begins in dialogue with this question, one that never settles, one that continues to shape both form and urgency. Existence is not a single substance. It is a layered process, continually formed where thought, body, and art converge.

Elements- Line

Line is the most fundamental medium and force through which my thought takes form. When my movement, constrained by time and space, is expressed through line, it becomes the origin of drawing as an artistic practice. A line is never a mere trace; it is an act that arises at the crossing of consciousness and unconsciousness, of mind and body.

Elements- Shape

Shape is the frame of perception that emerges as lines gather and intertwine. If the line is the trace of movement, shape is the structure that such traces form within consciousness. I do not see shape as a mere outline or resemblance. It is the condensation of inner sensation and psychological tension, and at the same time a structure through which I engage with the world.

A Form is an articulation of one perspective out of countless philosophies and viewpoints as countless heavenly bodies from the deep space.

The Silence of Form, The Inevitable Irony of Language

I created images to transcend the limits of language, yet to convey them to others, I must walk back into its confinement. However, since Logos does not kill Pathos but paradoxically 'upgrades' it, just as things become visible only from a disjointed position, the world beyond language opens up only when we collide with the limits of language.

Blue + Square

B1 | Within The Whole,the boundaries each human defines separate and yet permeate one another. I exist in a finite reality, thinking within the limits that confine me.

Y1 | I exist within nature, yet live as though I have forgotten my bond with it. Nature, a complete and independent being, embraces me, and within its perfection I see my own imperfection.

R1 | My existence is composed of space, time, and energy — concepts created by humanity to define the essence of the world.

Color

Color plays a vital role in my work. At times, it functions like a primary seasoning—sweet, salty, or sour—determining the overall taste. At other times, it resembles the fragrance or the presentation of food, which can be savored through the senses, adorning the dots and forms that embody the roots and structure of my thoughts.
